Ok guys, get ready for some serious organizing porn. I recently got a sneak peek at Neat Method's most recent portfolio photos and I was so impressed I just had to share with you all. If you haven't heard of Neat Method, they're a company that specializes in stylish home organization. How Sue Organizes Her Accessories

I have a new How I Organize series post for you guys today!  The spotlight is on blogger and shop owner Sue of The Zush, who shares with us how she beautifully organizes her accessories:

These photos are from my closet and the little dressing/vanity area right outside my closet.  I try to keep all my accessories (and I have a lot...I LOVE accessories) out where I can see them, but I like for them to look neat.  Right now I've got most of my clutches lined up on a shelf using pot lid holders that I picked up at The Container Store.  As for my perfumes and jewelry, I love to display them out on trays. We sell a lot of trays at The Zhush and this python one is my favorite.  I also love this little ceramic tray as a catchall for keeping smaller items like cell phones and earrings looking neat and pretty.  Finally, when I'm not sure if I'm ready to get rid of something, I usually move it into one of these fabric square storage boxes (also from the Container Store). If I go looking for it, then I know I need to keep it, if not, then after about a year, I'll usually give it away or donate the item.  If it's something really sentimental, I'll save it for my children.

A Glamorous Dressing Room

Absolutely loving this beautifully organized dressing room from the home of Rita Hazan:

 Shoes are neatly arranged on white open shelves (from Ikea!) and beauty essentials are on a glamorous mirrored vanity

A stylish modern black platter helps keep things organized.

 Such much goodness here - the big window with floor to ceiling drapes, the tufted daybead, the unique gold wall studs, the brass glass pendant...

A patterned tray corrals jewelry and pretty objects.

Beautifully Organized Space: Accessories Closet

Check out this accessories closet:

Beautifully organized by Flavia of Lulu Abroad, who lined up her shoes on shelves by type, hung belts on a row of hooks, used frames for sunglasses and jewelry, and cubbies for handbags.

Functional and looks great too.  Nicely done!

Photo Labeled Hat Boxes

Photos are a great way to label the contents of a box. We've seen them used for organizing shoes, and this lovely example from Elsie of A Beautiful Mess shows them used for organizing hats:

Beautifully Organized Glassess

Do you have a designated spot for your glasses/sunglasses? While you can certainly just store them in their cases and in a drawer, for those of us though who tend not to use our belongings when they're hidden away, a good option is to keep them corralled in a tray, which allows them to be out where you can see 'em and easily accessible. This works whether you have two or three pairs (like me)...

or you have several pairs...

Another option is to hang them. A simple sturdy hanger works great.

Accessories Organizer

Loving this little organizer for its versatility. You can hang not just necklaces (tangle-free yay!), but also earrings, scarves, sunglasses, handbags (there's a hook on each side), etc. Plus the shelf on top offers a place to keep other items like perfume, a pretty box, picture frames etc.

Beautifully Organized Space of the Week

This week's beautifully organized space of the week is this closet from the home of Erica Cook of Moth Design, which houses her daily staples:

White Ikea frames showcase bags from some of her favorite trips and create a fun little feature wall.

A round white tray keeps all her perfumes organized and at the ready.

Clear Ikea Rationell Variera "spice racks" serve as drawer separators and keep her belts and scarves organized.

*Unfortunately the clear "spice racks" are a discontinued product (at least to my knowledge). I bought several to organize a variety of things in my own home several months ago and absolutely loved them. When I tried to go back for more, they were no longer in stock and was told by an Ikea employee that they had been discontinued :-(

Glass trays and other beautiful containers hold jewelry, watches and sunglasses. An Ikea pant rack keeps her jeans easily accessible and allows her to see exactly what she has.

So chic, wouldn't you agree?

Beautifully Organized Space of the Week

This week's beautifully organized space is this closet from the home of fellow blogger Freckles Chic:

Isn't it lovely? She created it by donating all the things she no longer wanted and were just cluttering up the space, and by designating a place for everything that remained. Total cost of the transformation was about $100 (for hangers, clips, shelves, storage containers, a hat stand, and headband holder). Proof that you don't need a ton of space or money to create a beautiful closet!
