My Pup Little Foot and Tour of our LA Home

1-Arianna&LittleFoot_AriannaBelle

Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA here lately. Have been really busy working hard behind the scenes on setting up a foundation for the shop to grow to the next level.

I wanted to share with you photos from a fun home tour shoot we did late last year, just before we moved out of our Los Angeles condo.  The shoot was for the stylish pet friendly living website Pretty Fluffy and features my furry lovable companion, Little Foot. Photos were taken by the sweet and talented photographer Alicia Rius of Frame Your Pet.

This was a one-bedroom condo we had purchased back in 2008 and lived in for a few years, then decided to rent out for awhile (during which time we lived in this home), then moved back in for a couple of months before selling it so we could move closer to family and get something with more office space.

One of my favorite things about the space was that it was light and bright.  I loved the fresh paint color which we carried throughout the kitchen, dining space and living room.

This spot near the window in the dining space is where Little Foot always loved to sit in the morning to catch some sunlight.

We kept Little Foot's toys stored in a stylish magazine holder, which made it easy to move from space to space and keep them out of sight when not in use.

This was my office space, a corner of the living room. Small, but functional.

Little Foot looked handsome in his greek key collar from Blueblood Living.

I loved having these two tall bookcases flanking the fireplace. They added height to the space and provided great storage for our books and my collection of magazines.

Little Foot's second favorite spot to hang out was right on top of the sofa. I think he liked it because it gave him a view of outside and allowed him to watch over the home, like a king.

In our bedroom we went bold with dark blue paint on the walls, and dressed up the bed with Arianna Belle pillows, of course!

Little Foot

It's been awhile since I last posted a picture of my little guy and thought I'd share this sweet one taken by my sis:

I can't believe he's already two! Happy Birthday Little Foot!

For those of you new to this blog, you can see more Little Foot posts here :)

Happy Friday!

It's been chilly around here (well for So.Cal standards anyway!) so we've been putting Little Foot in a little sweater when we take him out. These photos are from earlier this week:

He looks pretty darn cute in his little turtleneck, if I do say so myself :) It's a lambs wool and acrylic blend and was custom made for him by Anna of The Puppy Pocket. If you're in the market for a dog sweater (or t-shirt or hoddie!) I highly recommend her, she's quite talented and super sweet!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Little Foot Turns One Today!

Today our pup Little Foot turns one year old! Here's what he looked like when we first met him at the shelter:

At the time he was about 2 months old. Can you imagine how tiny he probably was when he was born?!
Here's what he's grown into:

He has brought incredible joy into our lives and can't imagine being without him. We love our little buddy!!! :)

The New Desk & My Home Office

IMG_4181copy.jpg

Remember the new desk I was excited about getting delivered? Well we finally got around to setting it up, taking a few pictures, and posting my old one on Craigslist. The old one was a birch veneer Ikea desk I had since college and definitely showed its age. This new one isn't much fancier or much more expensive, after all we're still very much on a budget. However, it's white, clean, simple and works much better with the decor of my humble little home office {a.k.a. the corner of my living room}.

We had to include Little Foot in a shot, as he's a curious little guy and typically likes to be by my side when I'm sitting at my desk :)
