Chic Combination: Sungold + Orchid

Inspired by the beautiful interiors below, today's featured pairing is perfect for those who aren't afraid of bold color. Sungold yellow is illuminating and cheerful. Purple orchid is confident and alluring. Together they are vivacious.

I recently rediscovered this image I had pulled from an old catalog of anthropologie and had filed away for color inspiration. It's such a gorgeous mix of colors, I just had to share with you:

Color Inspiration: Yellow + Grey + White

Great in both larger and smaller doses, and in varying proportions, the combo of yellow, grey and white, make a happy chic palette.

As a person who loves color, I find spaces with a palette of bright pinks and blues to be lively and uplifting.
